Get Involved this Autumn with the World Cup 3 Lions Week
As part of the ‘InspiredBy’ campaign, Leigh Centurions and Leigh Community Trust will be supporting Three Lions Week, where we will be providing people of all ages and abilities the chance to get involved in rugby league through our different activities, sessions and club open days.
Running between 25 Sept – 2 October, Three Lions Week looks to capitalise on rugby league fever by starting the day after the men’s Grand Final and two weeks prior to the Rugby League World Cup kicking off.
Leigh Centurions will be running many different activities over the the 3 Lions week including a World Cup themed open Learning disability rugby session on Monday 26th September, 6-7pm at Golborne Parkside, a World Cup themed S.E.N sports and free play session at the A Team Hub on Tuesday 27th September, 4.30-5.50pm, the launch of our Walking Rugby sessions on Thursday 29th September 1-2pm at Golborne Parkside and finally 2 different school festivals on Tuesday 27th at a local Primary school and also Friday 30thSeptember 3-4.30pm at LSV stadium as part of the World Cup Trophy Tour.
