LCT find missing piece of their jigsaw!

While we have been on lockdown a lot has been happening behind the scenes at LCT and we are so excited to be able to now share our news with you!!

We have recently secured a long term lease on our very own premises in Leigh town centre which will allow us to serve the local community in so many ways. We would like thank Derek Beaumont, Centurions owner who without his legal knowhow and connections this would not have been possible.

Our vision for The A Team Hub is that it will include an SEN indoor physical activity centre, soft play area, a state of the art sensory room and messy play room, alongside a lounge area, training and meeting room and office space that will all aid with delivery of the Pre-school autism pathway programme.

As we said this is our vision, which is going to take a lot of blood, sweat and no doubt tears along the way but it is something that we have wanted to do for so long that it will definitely be worth it!

We are appealing to the local community for your help in making our vision a reality. As you can see from the pictures below we need to fully refurbish the building so are looking for any local businesses that may be able to donate or reduce the cost for us purchasing the following:

  • White emulsion paint

  • White gloss paint

  • Paint brushes

  • Rollers and trays

  • Dust sheets

  • Carpet cleaner

  • General cleaning products

  • Flooring

  • Skip Hire

  • CCTV

If anyone can help in any way please contact LCT Programmes Director Hannah Forbes at Hannah@leighcommunitytrust.co.uk
